Mr. Mututa, General Secretary of New Hope Global, is a highly experienced senior manager with over 36 years of professional expertise in Programme and Project Management. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership in delivering complex regeneration and development initiatives across both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Mututa has successfully managed large-scale programmes, including regeneration initiatives valued at approximately £200 million, working in partnership with local authorities, educational institutions, businesses, and community organisations. His ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, align strategic objectives, and ensure effective programme delivery has earned him a strong reputation for professionalism, accountability, and results.
A key strength of Mr. Mututa’s career has been his expertise in securing funding and developing strategic proposals. He has played a leading role in preparing and coordinating funding bids that have secured more than £66 million from UK and European funding sources, enabling organisations and partnerships to deliver impactful projects that support economic growth, innovation, and community development.
In 2016, he was appointed Black Country AIM for GOLD Programme Manager at the City of Wolverhampton Council, where he supported enterprise development and business growth initiatives across the region. He has also contributed to innovative projects delivered through partnerships with further education colleges, supporting businesses through access to technology, specialist expertise, and innovation facilities.
As General Secretary of New Hope Global, Mr. Mututa provides vital organisational leadership, ensuring effective administration, strong governance, and clear communication between the Chair and board members. His professionalism, strategic insight, and commitment continue to strengthen the organisation and support its mission to serve communities effectively.
