Collaboration with the City University on Community Cohesion
New Hope Global in liaison with the Birmingham City University intends to work on a project titled 'Championing Stronger Communities in the light of Three Zeros'. This is our pleasure to let you know that the idea and title of the project is derived from the latest publication 'A World of Three Zeros: The New Economics of Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment and Zero Net Carbon Emission' by Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Noble Laureate. The project aims at fostering stronger cohesion among the communities, particularly in a world struggling to cope with rampant inequality, massive unemployment and environmental destruction.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that New Hope Global has a well-earned reputation as a prominent charity organisation dedicated to working at the grassroot level for social well-being focused on empowering the disadvantaged communities through skill development, campaigning for healthy living, environmental protection, human rights and equal opportunities, interfaith dialogue, prevention of diseases, advancement of employment and promotion of wide range of activities pertaining to education, sports, arts, culture and heritage.

Around 80,000 Bangladeshis live in the city of Birmingham which has made this city home to the second largest Bangladeshi people in the United Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that the youth of this community possesses enormous potentials to unleash. To the younger generation of this community, a globally acclaimed pioneer of microfinance and Nobel Laureate as Professor Yunus, is a role model. We believe that the project will be of immense inspiration to the youngsters of the community.

New Hope Global and Birmingham City University will jointly work for the project and will arrange a visit by the eminent professor at a convenient time in this year.
