As a grassroots organisation working within some of Birmingham’s most deprived communities, we meet remarkable women every day who possess incredible talents and ideas, with the potential to build successful businesses and become inspiring role models within their communities.
We are working with women from Ladywood, Perry Barr, and Erdington, helping them transform their ideas, talents, and ambitions into successful businesses. NHG will provide practical business start-up guidance, marketing skills, support with social media, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping.
This project is especially meaningful to our Programme Manager, Rumena, whose passion lies in supporting women entrepreneurs from BAME communities. Having developed co-operatives, community businesses, and social enterprises in Birmingham, she understands the barriers women face and remains committed to helping them realise their potential
