Tamina Naseem – Employability Engagement Officer

After many years of working closely with young people through local youth groups and volunteering within community organisations, I developed a strong passion for helping individuals reach their full potential. Alongside this, I gained extensive administrative experience working within the local council, the NHS, and the private sector, building strong organisational, communication, and partnership skills.

In December 2025, I proudly joined the Employment and Skills Development Team at New Hope Global as the Employment Development Officer for the Youth Trailblazer Programme. This role allows me to combine my professional background with my commitment to supporting young people into education, employment, and training.   Being local to the area gives me valuable insight into the real issues affecting our community, whether that’s access to opportunities, financial pressures, or confidence and wellbeing challenges. It enables me to relate to the people I support, communicate effectively in community languages, and provide guidance that truly reflects local needs.

I am able to speak community languages which enables me to build meaningful relationships with participants and their families, ensuring they feel understood, supported, and empowered.

It has been an absolute joy to engage with so many bright and motivated young people in such a short space of time. I look forward to continuing to bring my creativity, enthusiasm, and experience to mentor, motivate, and support our beneficiaries, while making the journey both productive and enjoyable for everyone involved.
